I have always been interested in food and photography but since having my three daughters I have become more focused on nutrition, the quality of food we eat, and how it is produced.
Eating well is only one aspect of living well, and for a long time our family did neither because both my husband and I had careers that did not allow for work-life balance.
We were stressed. The kids were stressed.
We made the tough decision for me to stop working and live off less but believed we would be happier people for it.
I left work to create a home where there is time to savour a meal or a moment.
It is possible to live a full life without excess by making thoughtful choices for our families, communities, and the environment we inhabit.
My hope in creating this blog is that something I share may help you to do the same.
